Danville, Kentucky- The 2012 campaign ended for the UVa-Wise softball team, after falling to the 4^th seed Campbellsville, 11-6, on Friday.

Early on the Cavaliers held a tight 3-2 lead, before giving way to a Tiger's offensive explosion, that generated nine runs over the games final three innings.

In her final collegiate game, Senior Ashlee Washburn, drove in three runs home for UVa-Wise.

Sophomore Kristina Romualdo went three of four from the plate, while also driving in a run. Morgan Mays and Megan Dillion drove in one run apiece.

The Cavaliers complete the 2012 season with a 23-32 overall record, and a 6-16 record in conference play.
