London, Kentucky – For the first time in school history UVa-Wise fielded a women's golf program in 2012 and the inaugural event McKenzie Cluesman and Jamie Green represented the Cavaliers.

Cluesman fared the best of the two golfers as she finished 19th in the event by firing a 172 in the two day event.  Fellow golfer Jamie Green shot a 222 to finish 43rd in the first event for the program.

UVa-Wise will return to action at the Mid-South Fall Tournament in Campbellsville, Kentucky.  The two day event is scheduled to begin September 15.
