Wise, Virginia- The University of Virginia's College at Wise's volleyball team fell to Mid- South Conference foe Shawnee State at home inside David J. Prior Convocation Center, Tuesday night.  The Bears won in three sets by the scores of 25-20, 25-14, and 26-24.

In defeat, The Cavaliers were led by India Dillard and Robyn Doughtery, who had eight kills apiece on the night. Veronica Sanchez added 23 assist for UVa-Wise. Ashley Galbraith led the Bears with seven kills.

With the loss, Cavaliers fall to 2-11 on the season. UVa-Wise returns to action on Friday, as they travel to Columbia, Kentucky  to take  the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson.
