Columbia, Kentucky - UVa-Wise dropped its first of three weekend matches at Lindsey Wilson on Friday.  The host Blue Raiders disposed of the Cavaliers 25-15, 25-10, 25-12 to secure the Mid-South victory.

In the victory, Lindsey Wilson was led by Andrea Taylor who handed out 38 assists to eight different players.  Sarah Anderson and Courtney Doyle each produced 11 kills in the win.  UVa-Wise was plagued by errors as the Cavaliers kill total of 18 equaled its attack error total of 18.  Veronica Sanchez posted a team-high 11 assists in the match.

The victory improves Lindsey Wilson to 13-7 overall and 4-1 in league play, the loss drops UVa-Wise to 2-12 and 1-3 in Mid-South play.  The Cavaliers will complete the Mid-South crossover on Saturday when they take on Campbellsville University at 12:00 PM before playing University of the Cumberlands at 4:00 PM.
