The Greater Louisville Sports Commission hosted a huge multi-race meet consisting of tree levels of competition. The first race, Gold Division, held 31 NCAA DI teams with 267 runners. The second race, Blue Division, had 43 ranked DII, DIII, and NAIA teams with 337 runners. Then the final race, Silver Division, fielded 42 teams, Including the UVa at Wise, and 339 runners.

For the UVa at Wise Megan Hilliard showed she had recovered from the illness which had beset her recently, as after a good start she finished in 211 place in 23:21. She was followed by Emily Brock who had a similarly good start and finished in 224 place in 23:47. Samantha Balthis (24:45 239th), Whitney Carico (25:15, 245th), and Madison Compton (25:29, 248th) finished in close succession, just as they had run in the whole race.
