Wise, Virginia -  UVa-Wise dropped its eighth consecutive match on Tuesday as the visiting Eagles from Asbury University posted a 25-11, 25-13, 25-21 victory at the David J. Prior Convocation Center. 

In the victory, Asbury was led by Mackenzie Burke who handed out 15 assists while teammate Jessie Bratlow also posted 10 assists.  Sarah Sterling led the Eagles with a team-high seven kills to give Asbury its 12th win of the season. 

In the loss UVa-Wise was led by Veronica Sanchez who had 21 assists; Kala Morgan collected three kills in only six attempts. 

The loss drops the Cavaliers to 2-15 on the season; the team will return to action on Friday when the team plays Hollins University and Randolph College.
