Wise, Virginia - UVa-Wise completed a season sweep of the University of Pikeville with a four set victory over the visiting Bears Tuesday night.  The Bears took game one 23-25 before the Cavaliers posted three straight set victories by scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-11 for the win.

In the victory, Veronica Sanchez collected 43 assists while Allison Ring finished with 14 kills on 24 attempts.  Defensively, three players finished with double-digit kill totals as India Dillard, 14, Brittni Altmann, 13, and Lindsey Burke 12 thwarted UPike scoring opportunities.

The victory improves the Cavaliers' record to 4-18 overall and 2-6 in the Mid-South Conference.  UVa-Wise will return to play on Thursday when the team travels to West Virginia Tech with a match start time of 6:00 PM.
