Montgomery, West Virginia -  Veronica Sanchez handed out 29 assists while Brittni Altmann collected 12 digs to lead UVa-Wise to a three set victory over host West Virginia Tech on Thursday.

The Cavaliers posted a 25-15 victory in the first set before claiming 25-19 and 25-22 wins to complete the win.  The victory finishes off a season sweep of the Bears who fell in five sets when the two schools met in Wise earlier this season.

The victory was the club's second consecutive win and improves the Cavs to 5-18 on the season.  UVa-Wise will be back in action on Tuesday when the team plays host to Bluefield College for a Mid-South match.
