Bristol, Virginia -  Virginia Intermont scored a three-set home victory over visiting UVa-Wise in non-conference volleyball action on Wednesday.  The victorious Cobras won 25-15, 25-21, 25-19 to complete a season sweep over the Cavaliers.

In the loss, UVa-Wise was led by India Dillard who collected seven digs and three kills.  Veronica Sanchez added to her team-best assist total by handing out six on Wednesday.

With the loss, the Cavs fall to 6-19 on the season.  UVa-Wise will return to action on Friday when the team plays both Cumberland University and St. Catharine College at the David J. Prior Center.
