Wise, Va.  -  Visiting Shawnee State University outscored UVa-Wise 44-28 in the second half en route to a 76-68 victory at the David J. Prior Convocation Center on Saturday.  Tyler Morgan scored a game-high 22 points on eight of 13 shooting for the victorious Bears who out rebound the Cavaliers 52-35 in the contest.

In the loss, UVa-Wise posted three players in double-figure scoring; the Cavs were led by Matt Day who scored 16 points on five of 17 shooting while Javon Moore, 13 and James Turner 11 also finished in double digits. 

With the loss , UVa-Wise drops to 4-5 overall and 1-4 in Mid-South play.  The Cavaliers will return to action on Saturday when the team hosts Lincoln Memorial University.
