Fairmont, W.Va. -  Fairmont State forced 24 UVa-Wise turnovers and overcame an eight point halftime deficit to post a 57-51 victory on Saturday.

In the victory, Fairmont State was led by a trio of scorers, Tiffany Nicholson 17 points, Kaitlin Synder, 16 points, and Hailey Garrett 15 points.  Garrett added 14 rebounds to her 15 points en route to a 41-36 team advantage on the glass. 

UVa-Wise was led by Charlotte Reasor who scored 18 points on 6-13 shooting while Chelsea Cluesman scored 14 points and collected nine rebounds in the loss.

The loss drops the Cavs to 5-8 on the season, the team will return to action next Saturday when the team travels to Union University for a 2:00 p.m. tip.
