Wise, Va. -  Head Coach Danny Rowland recently signed Vladyslav Akimenko to play tennis at UVa-Wise this spring.  The 6'0", Akimenko hails from Ukraine and is the son of Sergii and Eleonora Akimenko.  Akimenko's favorite tennis player is Roger Federer.

UVa-Wise will open the season on February 15th at North Greenville.
