Wise, Va. -  This Saturday the UVa-Wise Student Government Association will be sponsoring Red and Gray Fan Day when the Cavaliers take on Bluefield in the Prior Center. 

Fans attending the basketball double header are encouraged to bring canned food items to support Family Crisis Support Services Inc. Hope House located in Norton, Va.  Throughout the 2:00 p.m. women's game and 4:00 p.m. men's game, the SGA will be giving away prizes such as foam fingers, pizza, pom poms, rally signs, headbands, and more. 

Students attending the game are encouraged to join their club or sports team to compete for the UVa-Wise Spirit Stick.  The Spirit Stick will be awarded based on three categories of competition, banner competition, food drive, and school spirit (day of the event).

Fans bringing canned food items can drop their canned goods off at the main entrance of the Prior Center just inside the main gate.
