PIKEVILLE, Ky. – UVa-Wise and the University of Pikeville split a softball double-header on Saturday.  The host Bears took game one 3-2 before the Cavs scored 12 runs in the finale en route to a 12-6 win.

The double-header was the Mid-South opener for both schools.

On the day, Charity Lawson went 4-5 with two RBI and a run scored while Allyssa Zebrowski collected three hits in five at bats while scoring four runs.

Following the double-header the Cavaliers are 4-1.  UVa-Wise will play a home double-header on Sunday starting at 1:00 pm against Salem International.
