WISE, Va. – Former UVa-Wise tight end and part-time assistant coach Luke Logan has been promoted to the full-time offensive line coach and video coordinator for the 2013 season. A Southwest Virginia native, Logan was a three-year letter-man for the Cavaliers and started at tight end as a senior.
Since the completion of his playing career, the former Cavalier has worked under Head Coach Dewey Lusk as a part-time offensive line coach and video coordinator assistant.
"Luke has been a valuable member of the UVa-Wise football program for the last six seasons. I'm thrilled that he will be with us in an even greater capacity in 2013." Said Head Coach Dewey Lusk.
Logan finished his bachelor's degree in history from UVa-Wise in 2010 and is on pace to graduate with his master's degree in education with a concentration in American History from Emory and Henry College this May.
The coach resides in his hometown of Pound, Va.
