KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Officials at the NAIA announced the 2013 NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete team on Monday.  Three UVa-Wise Cavaliers were selected to the squad, all becoming two-time recipients of the award.  Seniors Jaydee Brewer, Charlotte Reasor, and Chelsea Cluesman all garnered the award for the second consecutive season.

To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average while being in good standing with his or her academic institution.  All three honorees are on pace to graduate with their degrees this May.
