Emory, VA-  The Lady Cavs' dropped a heart breaker on Wednesday afternoon as they lost 5-4 to the Wasps' of Emory and Henry.  Kelsey Adkins and Kayla Kilgore both picked up singles victory while the two were also members of winning doubles team, Adkins would team with Whitney Bolling while Kilgore would team with Annie Fritz for the second UVa-Wise doubles victory.  

Kelsey Adkins defeated Jessie Jacobs 6-2, 6-1 in her singles match and Adkins/Bolling won 8-6 in doubles play.  Kayla Kilgore picked up a 6-2, 2-1 victory over Kaylee Gallent, Gallent had to retire mid-way through the second set.  Kilgore/Fritz scored a 8-4 doubles victory to round out the four Cavalier victories

UVa-Wise will return to action on Saturday when they host Berea College at 11:00 a.m.
