Bridgewater, Va. - Logan Arey signed a national letter of intent and will be set to take the mound for the Highland Cavaliers starting this fall.  The Turner Ashby High School standout pitcher signed with University of Virginia's College at Wise to continue his baseball career.

Arey earned three varsity letters for the Knights.  This spring, Logan posted a 5-2 record with an outstanding 0.52 earned run average.

"He's worked hard," Turner Ashby coach Richie Anderson said. "I had Logan when he was an eighth-grader on the junior varsity and just watching him grow from an eighth-grader to what he is now as a senior, it's exciting to see."

Arey is expected to compete for quality innings as a freshman on the mound for the Cavs.
