Dry Fork, Va. - First baseman Brett Hylton will be ready to hit for UVa-Wise after signing a baseball letter of intent.  The Tunstall High School standout posted a .465 this past year at the plate.

Along with the .465 average, Hylton lined nine home runs and drove in 44 runs as a senior for the Trojans. Brett was named All-Piedmont District  and AA All-Region IV first team. He helped lead his Trojans to a Piedmont District regular season and tournament titles and the Region IV Championship.

Hylton is expected to compete for a spot in the outfield for the Cavaliers in the fall.
