Chantilly, Va. - Chantilly High's Brian King signed a letter of intent to become part of the University of Virginia's College at Wise baseball squad.

King was a leader on a Chantilly team that made it to the Northern Region semifinals before losing to eventual Northern Region Champion West Springfield. Brian hit .370 with six home runs as a senior, including a two-run homer against Stone Bridge High School in the First Round of the Northern Region playoffs to help lift Chantilly to 3-2 victory.

UVa-Wise will welcome the 6'4" King, who has a great deal of offensive and defensive potential at the next level.  He should challenge for playing time at first base in the fall.
