Milligan College, Tenn. - After a week off, the UVa-Wise women's spikers could not continue its three-game win streak one more match. Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Milligan College took the bout from UVa-Wise in three games, 3-0.

The Lady Buffs (8-6/3-2 AAC) grabbed the first two contests, 25-19 and 25-16. The Highland Cavaliers (5-11/2-6 AAC) took the host to the limit in game three but came up short, 28-26.

Kelley Bumgarner handed out 31 assists to go with three kills and five digs. Mikaela Anders downed 15 kills and dug eight balls. Ruth Hoover and Courtney Coe added eight and six digs. Megan Funk added 10 kills and Idalina Walker produced six kills. Autumn Chisenhall rounded out the effort with four kills and two assists.

UVa-Wise returns to Greear Gym for a Thursday night affair with King College starting at 6:30 p.m.
