Wise, VA-  The Highland Cavalier Men's Cross Country Team placed 2 in the top 3 and 4 in the top 9 in Saturday's Cavalier Invitational. 

Spencer Adams (Wise, VA) was the strongest performer for UVa-Wise.  Adams ran a 17:30 to finish second in the event.  Freshman Alex Gragg (Chesterfield, VA) continues to have a strong start to his collegiate career.  His time of 17:59 was good enough for 3rd overall.  Other UVa-Wise runners included Reece Miller (Bristol, VA) who finished 6th with a time of 19:07 and Conrad Navarro (San Antonio, TX) whose time of 21:37 placed him 9th in the field.

Next up for UVa-Wise is the Lousivlle SF Classic on October 24th.
