Louisville, KY- The Highland Cavalier Men's Cross Country team compted at the 20^th annual Southeastern Cross Country Classic this past weekend. Each of the three UVa-Wise runners posted times that exceed either their career best or season best marks.

Spencer Adams ran a 28:14 to lead the Cavaliers. The time marked a new personal best for Adams. Following Adams, Alex Gragg posted a new personal best as well at 28:37. Reece Miller had his season best time at the meet by running a 31:45.

Head Coach Doug Carter said "the race provided a tough challenge for his runners and they responded well. Several of the nation's top runners competed in the meet." Carter was also impressed with the improvement of Reece Miller. "It's great to see Reece continue his season long improvement."

UVa-Wise will next compete in the AAC Championships on November 7th.
