Wise, Va. - Following some time off between matches, UVa-Wise did not have any more success in its second bout of Halloween. Covenant College took care of the host team in three games to wrap up the day.

The Lady Scots prevailed over the Highland Cavaliers (9-19) by the same 25-18 and 25-18 tallies in the first two games before finishing the match 25-19 in the third game.

Ruth Hoover dug 12 balls for the defense while Mikaela Anders added nine digs, eight kills and four blocks. Kelley Bumgarner posted 16 assists and eight digs. Kayla Dougherty hit five kills and Megan Funk had four of her own.

UVa-Wise will wrap up its regular season next Thursday, November 5^th for a 6:30 p.m. match at King College.
