Wytheville, Va. - George Wythe High School's Chris Scott signed and will be headed to become part of the UVa-Wise men's golf team starting in the fall 2010.

The two-time Hogoheegee District Golfer of the Year and three-time all-district first teamer will add a young talented player to the Highland Cavalier program.

Scott finished tied for 11^th in the Virginia State A Tournament last spring.  The future Cav placed tied for second in the Hogoheegee District Tournament. 

The National Junior Honor Society member plans to major in sport management while attending UVa-Wise.  He is the son of Lee and Kathy Scott of Wytheville.
