Bristol, Va. - After a big win on Wednesday night, UVa-Wise kept the men's basketball winning engine rolling into Bristol. The Highland Cavaliers ran out to a cushion in the opening eight minutes and recorded the sixth victory in a row, 84-46, over the Cobras of Virginia Intermont to stay atop the Appalachian Athletic Conference standings.

UVa-Wise improved to 13-10 on the year and more importantly 10-4 in the conference, a half game ahead of both Bryan College (9-4) and Bluefield (10-5) with three more teams a full game back.
