The 2010 UVa-Wise softball season will have an extra six days before the first pitch takes place.  Due to the weather, the only one to secure victories on the softball diamond this week was the snow.

The snow has claimed victory enough to cancel both Thur., Feb. 18th home date against the University of Charleston and the Sat., Feb. 20th away date at the University of the Cumberlands.  Neither date have a makeup decided upon at this time.

The Cavs will now try to begin their season at Pikeville College next Wed., Feb. 24th in a 1:00 p.m. twinbill.
