Woodstock, GA - The Highland Cavaliers opened the 2010 golf season by competing at the Reinhardt College Invitational. UVa-Wise was lead by Evan Sturgill in the competition, Sturgill fired a 123 on the two day event to finish 17^th overall.

As a team UVa-Wise finished fifth in their first tournament since the fall. Complementing Sturgill (Pound, VA) were Bryan Bentley (Wise, VA) who shot a 134, David Jones (Amelia, VA) with a 139, and Sean Hensley's (Gate City, VA) score of 156.

UVa-Wise will compete again at the Montreat College Spring Invitational. That tournament is scheduled for March 16^th and 17^th.
