Gate City, Va. - The influx of golfing talent headed to the campus for next fall continued as Gate City's Clint Lowe recently inked his name to a letter of intent for the UVa-Wise men's golf squad.

The future Cav brings a solid resume on the scholastic links the past few years. Lowe was named both the Region D and Clinch Mountain Player of the Year last spring. He also garnered All-Region status over the three previous seasons and All-District four times. The Blue Devil took part in the Blue Ridge All-Star team as a junior.

With his help, Gate City High's team has claimed two Clinch Mountain District titles and one Region D runner-up placing.

Clint is the son of Mark and Tammy Lowe of Gate City. He plans to major in biology upon reaching the Wise campus this fall.
