Cocoa Beach, FL - The Highland Cavaliers picked up two more victories on Wednesday as they swept Rochester College in a baseball double header. UVa-Wise posted double figures in each game as they took game one 13-4 and game two 14-2.

Game one saw five Highland Cavaliers post multi-hit games, led Tommy Meir's three hit performance UVa-Wise scored 11 runs in the fifth inning to blow open a 4-1 Rochester lead. Cody Bentley, Jonathon Cox, Brad Robbins, and Brian King each connected for two hits in the game. On the mound, Taylor Jones picked up his first career win in the 13-4 UVa-Wise win.

Game two featured a five rbi performance from Jonathon Cox, the freshman went for 3-3 in the contest. UVa-Wise held a 6-2 lead going into the fifth when Luis Roa cleared the bases with a three rbi double to push the game out of reach. Chris Smith got the victory for the Highland Cavaliers while Larry Smith took the loss for Rochester. UVa-Wise went undefeated at Cocoa Beach and improved their record to 5-6 on the season. The Highland Cavaliers will be back on the diamond Friday when they face Appalachian Athletic Conference foe Covenant College. First pitch is set for 2:00 p.m. at Covenant.
