Ben Hur, Va. - The latest scholastic men's golf signing for UVa-Wise came recently by Lee High's Alan Audia agreeing to sign to take to the links starting next fall.
Audia will look to help what should be a strong incoming recruiting class for Highland Cavalier head coach Jim Kelly.
The future Cav recorded a second place finish in the 2009 Region D competition with a 75. As a sophomore in 2008, Audia took the top spot with a 69 at the Clinch Mountain District championship. He also claimed the title in a two-day junior tournament as a freshman.
The Pennington Gap, Va. native is the son of Barry and Paula Audia and plans to major in either biology or chemistry upon reaching the college campus.
