The Highland Cavaliers returned to the golf course when they traveled to compete in the Milligan Spring Shootout. UVa-Wise finished seventh in the competition and was led by Evan Sturgill's score of 149. Sturgill's two day total placed him fourth overall in the field. 

UVa-Wise sent five golfers to the event, including new comer Myles Cote. Following Sturgill, Bryan Bentley shot a 157, David Jones shot a 180, Sean Hensley a 187, and Myles Cote finished his first collegiate tournament with a score of 218. UVa-Wise will be off until April 6^th when they travel to Bluefield to compete in the Bluefield College Spring Conference Tournament.
