Bristol, TN -  The future of the UVa-Wise Volleyball team continues to get brighter.  Head Coach Kendall Rainey recently signed McKinley Thomas of Tennessee High.  Thomas should greatly aid the Highland Cavalier defense once reaching campus.

Thomas was part of several highly successful Tennessee High squads during her high school career.  Thomas has also played against tough competition in the off season through her participation in club volleyball where she played under coach Dale Casey. 

Thomas is the daughter of Rob and Cyndi Thomas.  She plans to major in pediatric nursing while minoring in occupational therapy upon reaching UVa-Wise.
