Bluefield, VA - UVa-Wise defeated Bluefield 7-2 in women's tennis action on Saturday. The only defeats suffered by the Highland Cavaliers occurred in matches that the Rams won by default. UVa-Wise took each of the remaining singles matches in straight sets while winning the other two doubles matches 8-4, and 8-1. The win improves UVa-Wise to 4-6 overall and 2-2 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play.
