Norton, VA - Brianna and Mary Jo Stallard signed to play collegiate tennis at the University of Virginia's College at Wise. The sisters are currently two sport athletes at nearby John I Burton High School. On the tennis court, Brianna has been a member of the all district team for the past two seasons while playing first seed singles. Mary Jo has been a four year member of the tennis squad while playing third singles. The sisters were also key components to the school's state runner up basketball team. 

According to head coach Danny Rowland the duo will be expected to contribute early in their careers. "We are very pleased to have both Brianna and Mary Jo join our program. They will have an immediate impact on the program."

Brianna and Mary Jo are the daughters of Joe Stallard and Mary Hagy. The will enroll at UVa-Wise in the fall of 2010.
