Kingsport, TN - Three UVa-Wise baseball players were honored by the Appalachian Athletic Conference for their performance in the 2010 regular season. Designated hitter Brad Robbins was chosen to the AAC All-Conference team while Dusty Haigler and Luis Roa were given gold gloves.

In the regular season Robbins hit .395 with nine home runs and 54 rbi. The left handed hitting Robbins also lined 18 doubles to account for 27 extra base hits. In total, the 2010 season saw the four year starter line 64 hits as he led the team in hits, home runs, rbi, doubles, and slugging percentage. 

The glove work of third baseman Dusty Haigler landed him a gold glove. The Hanover, Pennsylvania native posted a .941 fielding percentage while starting four double plays from his corner position. Haigler also led the team in assists with 78 during the regular season.

Speed and steadiness landed left fielder Luis Roa a gold glove. Hailing from Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Roa made just one error in 2010. Roa's .979 fielding percentage led all UVa-Wise outfielders for the season. On the year, he went 46 for 47 in chances with 45 putouts and one outfield assist. 

The Highland Cavaliers finished the 2010 regular season 27-19 before falling on day two of the AAC Tournament to Union College.
