Kansas City, MO - UVa-Wise designated hitter Brad Robbins was selected second team All-America by the NAIA on Thursday. Robbins, a senior from Big Stone Gap, Virginia hit .404 with 58 rbi, nine home runs, and tied a school record with 21 doubles in 2010.

Prior to the 2008 season, Robbins was selected pre-season All-America by the NAIA. Over his career, he has also been named to the All-Appalachian Athletic Conference team three times.  This season Robbins aided the Cavaliers to a 27-21 mark while leading the team in hits, rbi, home runs, doubles, and slugging percentage.
