Milligan, TN - The UVa-Wise volleyball team dropped four matches at the Milligan Mountain Madness over the weekend. On Friday, the Cavaliers fell 3-0 to both Shorter and Milligan. On Saturday, UVa-Wise fell 3-1 to Bryan while dropping a 3-0 decision to Southern Virginia. 

For the weekend, Mikaela Anders had 41 kills; the mark was good enough to earn her a spot on the all- tournament team. Teammate Allie Smith added 75 assists over the four matches while Brittany Simpson posted five aces in the Southern Virginia match. 

UVa-Wise (0-4) will travel to Bluefield on Thursday for two matches. The Cavaliers and Rams will play two matches; the first match is set for a 5:00 p.m. start.
