London, KY -  UVa-Wise opened up its 2010 fall golf schedule on Thursday afternoon at the Bill Sergent Invite in London, Kentucky.

Leading the way for UVa-Wise was freshman Clinton Lowe.  Lowe, a Gate City, Virginia native paced all Cavalier golfers with a round of 78.  Following closely behind was Todd Gaylean (Big Stone Gap, Virginia) and Dylan Allen (Castlewood, Virginia) which each finished day one with a score of 80. 

Chris Scott's (Wytheville, Virginia) 82 and Dylan Allen's (Castlewood, Virginia) 85 rounded out the scoring for UVa-Wise.  The tournament will conclude Friday, UVa-Wise will tee off at 9:30 a.m.
