London, KY - UVa-Wise golfers took a step back on day two of the Bill Sergent Invite as the Cavaliers finished 13^th in the event. However, freshman Todd Galyean posted the best round of his early collegiate career with a score of 76 on day two of the event. 

Joining Galyean with a sub 80 score on day two was fellow freshman Chris Scott. Scott fired a 78 on day two to improving by four strokes from his 82 from the opening day. Other day two scores included an 86 by Derek Allen, an 87 by Clinton Lowe, and a 97 by Dylan Allen.

UVa-Wise will return to action on September 14 for the Mid-South fall tournament. This year the fall tournament is being held in Burkesville, Kentucky.
